According to Gabon’s Ministry of Economy, the country’s manganese ore output is likely to grow by nearly 7% year on year to 10.06 million tons this year as Compagnie minière de l'Ogooué (COMILOG) and Compagnie Industrielle et Commerciale des Mines de Huazhou (CICMHZ), two major miners in Gabon, will increase their production. The sales price was expected to go up by 1.5% year on year.

China has topped the largest exporter of manganese ore for Gabon since 2020.
