According to data from Brazil’s Ministry of Economy, in June, Brazil’s iron ore exports were around 32.1 million tons, increasing by 26.4% month on month and decreasing by 4.3% year on year.
Among them, the exports to China accounted for 69.8% of total Brazil’s iron ore exports, with 22.41 million tons, a month-on-month increase of 42% but sliding by 3.8% year on year.
In the first six months of this year, the exports of Brazil’s iron ore were 154 million tons, decreasing by 7.5% year on year. Meanwhile, the exports to China were 64.8% of the total of Brazil’s iron ore exports, with 100 million tons, decreasing by 7.3% compared to the same period of last year.
