According to Brazilian Customs, Brazil’s manganese ore exports totaled nearly 25,000 tons in July this year, plummeting by 80.1% compared to the preceding month.

The sharp decrease in July exports was due to a large drop in the volume to China, whose imports great fell by 86.1% month on month to 16,800 tons.

During the period, Brazil’s manganese ore was mainly exported to Asia, totaling nearly 22,000 tons.

In 2021, Brazil’s monthly exports of manganese ore averaged 143,000 tons.
