Last week, China’s steel social inventory decreased, which has declined for ten consecutive weeks. Among them, hot-rolled coils fell the most, and cold-rolled coils reduced the least.

In the week ended August 26, the inventory of China’s top five steel products was about 11.39 million tons, decreasing by 2.81% week on week. Among them, compared with the previous week, the rebar social stocks dropped by 3.75% to 5.08 million tons. The wire rod inventory decreased by 1.34% to 1.19 million tons. Hot-rolled steel stocks fell by 3.83% to 2.56 million tons. The cold-rolled steel inventory merely reduced by 0.06% to 1.34 million tons. Medium-thick steel plate stocks declined by 1.04% to 1.2 million tons.
