In the week ending on September 30, the inventory of China’s five major steel products was about 10.41 million tons, decreasing by 4.14% from the previous week.

Among them, the social inventory of rebar (about 4.55 million tons), wire rods (about 1.12 million tons), hot-rolled products (2.32 million tons), and cold-rolled products (1.29 million tons) decreased by 6.14%, 4.85%, 3.43%, and 1.16% week on week, respectively. On the contrary, medium-thick plate stocks slightly increased by 0.4% week on week, reaching 1.13 million tons.
