According to statistics from the China Iron and Steel Association (CISA), the daily output of crude steel from CISA’s key enterprise members totaled around 2.1 million tons in the period from October 1 to 10, down by 1.1% compared to the previous ten days.

The daily average output of pig iron from key enterprise members in early October was down by 2.2% from late September to 1.9 million tons, and that of finished steel products grew by 9.2% from late September to approximately 2 million tons.
