European countries have suffered the soaring costs of coal and natural gas and the worst energy crisis in decades, which highlights the importance of the green energy industry. Therefore, the prospect may be just around the corner for Taiwanese steel structure manufacturers developing related offshore wind power green energy industries.

Century Iron & Steel Industrial Co., Ltd., the major offshore wind power structural steel manufacturer in Taiwan, has been working hard on offshore wind power underwater foundation projects for many years, while the Taiwanese government actively promotes localization and green energy policies. The company has been full of orders in recent years.

Besides the order from Ørsted A/S, Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP), and Northland Power Inc. (NPI), Century Iron & Steel Industrial also obtained the second-phased order from Taiwan Power Company, which was expected to complete by the third quarter of 2024.
