South Korean truckers’ strike has been for nine days, resulting in a 1 trillion won loss for steel shipment.

The steel industry has the most significant loss of 4 sectors; the rest is the oil refining industry lost 442.6 billion won, and the auto industry lost 319.2 billion won. The cement industry lost 976 billion won.

According to data from South Korea’s Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Energy, as of December 1, the loss of shipments of the top 5 steel manufacturers in South Korea, including POSCO, Hyundai Steel, Dongkuk Steel, SeAH Steel, and KG Steel, reduced by 870 billion won, and other steel mills lost above 200 billion won.
