According to data from China’s customs, in March, China’s steel product exports totaled 7.89 million tons, a month-on-month increase of 28.1%. Meanwhile, the imports amounted to 682,000 tons, increasing by 8.3% from the previous month.

In the first three months of 2023, China’s steel product exports totaled 20.08 million tons, hiking by 53.2% from the corresponding period of last year. During the same period, the imports were 1.91 million tons, plunging by 40.5% year on year.
