According to statistics, South Korea’s sales of hot-rolled flat products totaled 1.01 million tons in May, rising by 9.8% compared to the previous month and by 5.2% from the same month a year ago.

Among them, the domestic sales accounted for 595,000 tons, a month-on-month increase of 12.3%; the export volume was 415,000 tons, a month-on-month growth of 6.4%.

In the first five months of this year, South Korea totally exported approximately 1.66 million tons of hot-rolled flat products, hiking by 36.2% from the corresponding period a year earlier.
