According to statistics, the production of cold-rolled stainless steel in China’s 34 mills amounted to around 1.23 million tons in June, falling by 3.22% compared to the previous month and rising by 12.1% from the year-ago level. The capacity utilization of these mills was 72.3%, a month-on-month decrease of 2.4%.
Among them, the output of 200, 300, and 400 series was 424,000 tons, 598,000 tons, and 211,000 tons, up by 34.9%, 0.42%, and 10.9% year on year respectively.
In July, the scheduled production of 34 cold-rolled stainless steel mills in China will be 11.19 million tons, a month-on-month decrease of 9.2% and a year-on-year drop of 0.46%.
Among them, the scheduled output of 200, 300, and 400 series will be approximately 441,000 tons, 470,000 tons, and 210,000 tons, respectively.
