According to statistics released by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) of China, China produced around 17.7 million tons of hot-rolled coil (HRC) this June, rising by 13% compared to the same month a year ago. The output of cold-rolled coil (CRC) was 3.5 million tons during the period, a year-on-year hike of 3%.

In the first half of this year, China’s HRC output amounted to approximately 100.8 million tons, increasing by 9% year on year. The production of CRC in the given period was down by 4% year on year to 17.8 million tons.
