According to data from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), in the first eight months of this year, Turkey’s cold-rolled coil imports increased by 23% from the same period a year ago to about 613,000 tons.

Among them, South Korea was the main import source, with around 236,000 tons, hiking by double year on year. In addition, imports from China, Spain, Belgium, France, and the Netherlands were about 110,000 tons, 26,000 tons, 21,000 tons, 18,000 tons, and 15,000 tons, respectively.
