Vietnam's Hoa Phat Group achieved substantial margins in the first nine months of 2023 and reached the production milestone of 8 million tons of hot-rolled coils (HRC) at the end of October.

This significant achievement underscores Hoa Phat Group's dominant position in Southeast Asia's steel industry. Recently, the plant improved several production lines. It invested and put into operation roll forming machine No.3 in November 2022, which increased roll forming capacity.

In addition, the plant completed the installation and trial run of the F5 rolling rack, which allowed its hot-rolled coil thickness to decrease from 1.5 to 1.2mm.
