According to statistics, there has been a surge in demand from the construction sector and infrastructure redevelopment, coupled with the stable operation of Ukraine's power grid for most of the previous year.

In 2023, galvanized steel consumption in Ukraine witnessed a notable increase of 41% year on year, reaching 243,000 tons. Projections suggest that consumption could further rise to 289,000 tons by 2024, marking a 19% increase.

However, domestic production of galvanized steel experienced a significant decline of 42% year on year, dropping to 103,000 tons last year. This decrease was attributed to power outages during the first quarter.
