According to data from the China Iron and Steel Association, in late March, the daily average crude steel production of Chinese main steel manufacturers was about 2.12 million tons, increasing by 3.63% month on month but dropping by 6.14% from the same period a year ago.

Regarding steel inventories, they slightly decreased by 5.66% from the middle of March and grew by 2.26% from the same period of last month to about 18.42 million tons. In the whole month of March, the daily average crude steel was around 2.08 million tons, decreasing by 6.57% year on year.
