In the middle of April, from April 11 to April 20, China’s daily crude steel production amounted to about 2.53 million tons, slightly increasing by 0.3% from the beginning of April. Meanwhile, the daily pig iron output slightly decreased by 0.4% compared to early April to about 2.19 million tons.

Besides, from April 15 to April 19, the average utilization of China’s blast furnaces reached nearly 85%, growing by 2% from the end of March and dropping by 7% from the same period a year ago.
