The data from the World Steel Association (worldsteel) showed that in March, Austrian crude steel production was about 680,000 tons, increasing by 13.4% from the previous month and keeping unchanged compared to the same month a year ago. Meanwhile, Austria was ranked 21st of the leading global steel-producing countries.
In the first three months of this year, the country’s crude steel output was about 1.89 million tons, slightly increasing by 0.7% year on year.
