China’s Benxi Steel has successfully produced extreme-width galvanized automobile exterior panels of width 1850mm.

The raw material width was 1890mm. As learned, the extreme-width galvanized automobile exterior panels have characteristics of good surface quality, high elongation and excellent ultra-deep drawing performance. It will be mainly used to manufacture large-size automobile SUVs’ and MPVs’ bodies, such as large parts such as front hatches, doors, side panels.

It can improve aesthetics of the entire vehicle body by avoiding tailor welding.
