In June, Taiwan’s hot-dipped galvanized (HDG) steel imports were about 16,000 tons, increasing by 8.8% compared to the previous month. Among them, the main import source was Japan, with about 8,400 tons. The followings were Vietnam (about 6,400 tons), China (about 860 tons), and Thailand (about 410 tons).

In the first six months, Taiwan’s HDG imports totaled about 96,000 tons. In specific, the imports from Japan, Vietnam and China amounted to about 57,000 tons, 23,000 tons and 8,000 tons, respectively.
