Spain's SARRALLE has been chosen by ArcelorMittal to design, procure, supply, and erect a new Water Treatment Plant in Gijón, Spain. This project complements last year’s order for a new Electric Arc Furnace (EAF) as part of ArcelorMittal’s decarbonization plan in Spain.

SARRALLE will also install a Fumes Exhaust System and a Waste Heat Recovery System to enhance the new EAF’s energy efficiency. To support these systems, SARRALLE will set up a Cooling Water System and a Compressed Air Room.
