During the summer vacation, hot-rolled price in the European market seems to remain at the same level. In the local market, activities are few and demand is low. It seems like that everyone is on vacation, according to downstream users, the market shows no changes at the moment.

In the first half of this year, the flat steel demand was weaker than the same period of previous year, mainly because of the sluggish growth of automobile industry and construction industry. Meanwhile, since EU enhances protectionism measures on imported steel coil, local customers show limited demand in imported coils.
