Jindal Stainless announced that it would manufacture and supply customized stainless steel and specialty low-alloy steel sheets for BrahMos Aerospace's defense projects. The company will also provide steel plates from its Hisar plant in Haryana.

Jindal Stainless has been accredited as a qualified vendor by BrahMos Aerospace Pvt Ltd for these critical materials, marking a significant step in its involvement with India's defense sector.

Jindal Stainless previously supplied materials for key projects under DRDO and ISRO, including Chandrayaan, PSLV, GSLV Mk3, and other missile systems. The company recently developed and supplied 3 mm special alloy steel sheets for the Supersonic Missile-Assisted Release of Torpedo (SMART) system.
