On November 18, 2024, China’s Xinjiang Bayi Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. successfully completed the thermal load test run of its first zinc-aluminum-magnesium-coated plate production line and rolled off the first roll of products.

The production line has an annual output of 350,000 tons. It has an advanced design and uses automation technology and industrial robots. The product thickness ranges from 0.4mm to 3.0mm and the width ranges from 750mm to 1250mm.

Zinc-aluminum-magnesium-coated plates have excellent corrosion resistance and self-healing properties and are widely used in photovoltaics, construction, home appliances, and other fields.

The commissioning of this production line will enhance the company’s product structure, enhance market competitiveness, and promote the development of new energy in Xinjiang.
