In order to optimize the urban environment, beautify and illuminate the city night scene, accelerate the construction of supporting projects on the west side of Xinhe River, and do the most concerned and direct "key small things" for the masses, the Water and Electric Power Bureau of Tianjin Lutai Economic Development Zone raised 50,000 yuan to illuminate the west side of Xinhe River.

After many field investigations, the lighting project started on July 1, and the west side of Xinhe River was positioned, measured, trenched, drilled, pulled, and cables were laid. After a week of unremitting efforts and close cooperation by water and electricity workers, the lighting was completed and put into use on July 8.

The road lighting section is 800 meters long, with 20 solar street lights on one side. The installation of solar street lights not only improves the travel conditions of residents at night, but also saves energy and is environmentally friendly. One street light after another illuminates the "safe road" for residents to travel and the "happy road" for residents to walk and rest, and has done practical things in the hearts of residents.
