According to statistics from the US Department of Commerce (USDOC), the US exported approximately 121,000 tons of hot-dip galvanized (HDG) sheets and strips in October. This represented a 2.6% growth compared to the previous month and a 0.2% increase from the same month last year.

Mexico was the largest export destination, receiving around 73,000 tons, a month-on-month increase of 9.7% and a year-on-year hike of 19%. Canada followed with around 47,400 tons, while exports to other destinations were relatively small.

The total export value of these products during the period was roughly $170 million, reflecting a 0.95% increase compared to the prior month and a 3.3% growth from the same month of the previous year.
