Recently, the Chongqing Iron and Steel’s hot coil production line has successfully rolled with 3.5mm cold-rolled base material for the first time, which breaks through the previous material requirements that the rolled material must be >5mm and the yield strength must be ≥235Mpa. 

It has extremely high requirements on equipment accuracy for thin-gauge cold-rolled base materials. The technical team optimized the target temperature of the open rolling base material before the test and adjusted some parameters to ensure success. 

The successful breakthrough of this process has fully verified that the accuracy and stability of Chongqing Iron and Steel's hot coil production line in roughing, coil box, finishing, and coiling areas has jumped to a new level.
