The street lights on Wenchang North Road in Dongshan County, Zhangzhou City, Fujian Province have been under construction for more than ten years. There are problems such as light decay of lamp heads, aging of cables and supporting facilities, which lead to low brightness of night lighting and safety hazards for people's travel.

Recently, the Dongshan County Housing and Construction Bureau uniformly renovated the street lights on Wenchang North Road. During the renovation process, the construction workers strictly abided by the regulations, took safety precautions, and conducted lighting tests after the renovation and replacement.

A total of 54 lamps were renovated this time, including the replacement of 1.5 kilometers of cables and supporting facilities such as control cabinets. Through renovation and upgrading, on the one hand, the problem of inconvenience in people's travel was solved, safety hazards were eliminated, and a safer and more comfortable environment was provided for people to travel at night; on the other hand, replacing lamps with energy-saving equipment can optimize functional lighting effects, reduce street lamp energy consumption, improve urban lighting quality, and achieve green and low-carbon development.
