Due to the long installation time of the street lamp poles on Baiyun Street, Shuguang Road, and the western part of Renmin Street, they have been exposed to the wind and sun for a long time, causing aging, peeling, and fading. In addition, the illegal "small advertisements" on the poles are often cleaned, making some lamp poles scarred and rusty, affecting the beauty of the street lamps and the image of the city.

In recent days, the municipal company has found out the number of lamp pole maintenance, and re-polished and painted more than 370 street lamps on both sides of the key sections in groups and sections to restore the lighting and beautification effects of the street lamps. At the same time, the 48 old lighting fixtures on the Baiyun Bridge section were uniformly replaced with LED energy-saving light sources to achieve the purpose of enhancing illumination and energy saving and environmental protection.
