Xiaojiang Tunnel is located in Xiaojiang Village, Yangzhuang Township, Wuyishan City, close to Jiangxi Province. It is a two-way two-lane tunnel with a total length of 238m. The comprehensive lighting project of Xiaojiang Tunnel is a comprehensive improvement project based on the transformation of the original cement pavement of the tunnel into an asphalt pavement for lighting. The improvement projects include three aspects: pavement, tunnel wall and lighting. After implementation, the color pavement, tunnel wall lighting, traffic safety facilities, and electromechanical system have a coordinated lighting effect. While beautifying the tunnel environment, it also achieves the effect of light enhancement and diffuse reflection, effectively improving the visual distance of the human eye.

The tunnel intelligence project is to upgrade the electromechanical and monitoring facilities in the tunnel, arrange diversified holographic sensing equipment, and grasp the vehicle operation status in the tunnel in real time. Intelligent dimming of tunnel lights, full-domain perception of millimeter-wave radar, fire alarm of monitoring equipment, and displacement detection of tunnel cracks. These functions not only improve the operation efficiency and management level of the tunnel, but also increase the traffic operation safety factor, and improve the safety factor and comfort of highway traffic.

The lighting and intelligentization project of Xiaojiang Tunnel is a positive attempt by Wuyishan Highway Sub-Center to promote the construction of a smart highway system.
