Improving the rural living environment and building beautiful and livable villages are important tasks in implementing the rural revitalization strategy. Guanghua Town, Tonghua County, Tonghua City, Jilin Province has carried out solid work on improving the rural living environment, accelerating the filling of the "shortcomings" of the living environment, and vigorously carrying out the overall appearance improvement project with "greening, beautification, and lighting" as the focus, taking multiple measures to help build a beautiful and livable new countryside.

In response to the problems of too many stores on both sides of the main road in the town and aging street lights, Guanghua Town replanned and renovated the lighting project of the main road in the town. The original 10-meter-high electric street lights were transformed and upgraded to solar street lights. According to the principle of neatness and beauty, the renovated street lights were uniformly placed on both sides of the road. At the same time, blueberry LED light signs were installed on the street light poles to highlight the characteristics of Guanghua and show the unique style of the blueberry town. Every night, street lights are lit on time, and the people walking and dancing are amazed at the beautiful night view. The street lights not only illuminate the beautiful night of Guanghua and enhance the image of the town, but also provide convenience for people's fitness and safe travel at night, and further enhance the people's sense of security and happiness. In addition, this kind of LED light source with extremely low power consumption and high light efficiency decorative lamp not only achieves energy-saving lighting and illuminates the night, but also makes people's eyes bright. This lighting project installed a total of 121 energy-saving street lamps, illuminating the 1.9-kilometer main street of Guanghua Town, making the town and village appearance of our town a new one, and creating a "clean, orderly, hygienic and civilized" living environment for the people.

In the next step, Guanghua Town will continue to adhere to scientific planning, establish a long-term mechanism, increase publicity efforts, improve residents' awareness of protecting basic public facilities and the concept of caring for the living environment, consolidate the results of the lighting and beautification project, and create a beautiful rural landscape with outstanding results in improving the rural landscape.
