Recently, 130 solar street lights were installed along the Shuangjin to Yunbao section of Shuangbao Village, Hetai Town, Gaoyao District, Zhaoqing City, Guangdong Province, which not only illuminated the way home for the people, but also illuminated the road to rural revitalization.

At around 6 pm, the newly installed solar street lights on the Shuangjin to Yunbao section of Shuangbao Village, Hetai Town, lit up on time, and the originally dim road became brightly lit, and the sense of security of nearby villagers traveling at night was instantly full.

Uncle Chen, a villager in Shuangbao Village, Hetai Town: "Before the street lights were installed, it was rare to see villagers going out at night. Since the street lights were installed along the road, the entire village road is also very bright at night, and it is more convenient for villagers to travel at night."

It is understood that the road lighting project is the first livelihood project completed by the second batch of the Hetai Town Helping Town and Village Working Team after they moved in, actively responded to the work deployment of the local town committee and town government, and communicated and coordinated with the village committee. During this period, the working team conducted several days of investigation, visits and planning, and accurately invested part of the rural revitalization funds in the street light installation project.

This project was completed at the end of September this year, and it took less than a month. The street light installation started in Shuangjin Village and ended in Yunbao Village, with a total length of about 5 kilometers, benefiting 1,633 villagers in 6 natural villages under the Shuangbao Village Committee. A 7-meter-high anti-glare solar street light is installed every 40 meters or so on the road. The street lights are also decorated with Chinese knots, adding a bit of rural style and becoming a beautiful landscape on the road to rural revitalization.

Next, Hetai Town will also install 50 solar street lights on the remaining 1.5 kilometers of the main village road in Shuangjin Village, covering more areas and providing more convenience for villagers to travel at night.
