Recently, the renovation of this section of road has made phased progress, and new street lamps have been installed in place one after another. At the same time, the removal of the original old and damaged street lamps is also being carried out in an orderly manner.

There are many residents and dense trees around this section of road. The original street lamps have been used for a long time, and there are problems such as old lamps and insufficient illumination. In addition, the original lamp poles are ordinary cement poles. Due to the influence of the growth of tree roots, they have burst and tilted, and frequent failures have greatly affected night lighting and caused safety hazards to citizens’ night travel.

In order to ensure the smooth progress of the renovation project, the staff of Beihai City Urban Lighting Management Office overcame many difficulties. For example, some people are not cooperative with the newly installed street lights and do not want to install them on the outer walls of their houses, which increases the difficulty of construction; secondly, it is very difficult to remove the street light poles. The underground tree roots are intertwined and the light poles are difficult to pull out. So far, 10 old street lights have been successfully removed.

The newly installed 7 street lights are not only modern in appearance and novel in design, but also use efficient and energy-saving LED light sources, which greatly improves the lighting effect.
