Liming Street is a distinctive old street in Suchen Town. As night falls and the lights come on, the street lights in the shape of palace lanterns in the middle of the road light up quietly, not only illuminating the way home for passing vehicles, but also improving the sense of security and happiness of surrounding residents.

Originally, Liming Street barely maintained lighting only by the lights in the homes of residents on both sides of the road. The road was dim, and the villagers were inconvenient to travel and there were certain safety hazards. During this renovation, the conventional high-pole street lights and shaped lights were used to illuminate the road, which not only illuminated the road, but also added to the charm of rural style, making street lights the finishing touch in the beautiful scenery of the countryside.

"It used to be pitch black at night, and I couldn't see the road when I got home a little late. After the renovation, the shape is beautiful and the lighting is sufficient. It's really good." Ma Jianguo, a resident who was taking a walk, said happily.

One street lamp after another not only illuminates the road, but also the happy life of the people. This year, Hailing renovated and upgraded the road lighting facilities of Sucai Road, Liming Street, Hedong Road, Hexi Road in Suchen Town and Mingxing Road in Jiulong Town. The total investment of the project is about 3 million yuan. The renovation involves a road section of about 3.4 kilometers. A total of 48 sets of old street lamps were demolished and 75 sets of high-efficiency LED street lamps were newly installed. All of them are now in operation, solving the problems of long operation time of street lamps, aging lamps, high energy consumption, etc., ensuring the safety of people's travel at night.
