Brazil continues AD duties on cold-rolled stainless steel from China, Taiwan

On September 30, 2025, Brazil’s Foreign Trade Executive Management Committee (Gecex) issued Resolution No. 798, making an affirmative final decision of its second anti-dumping (AD) sunset review on cold-rolled stainless steel flat-rolled products from China and Taiwan.

Brazil will continue to impose AD duties for five years. The duty for China is set at US$903.48/ton, and that for Taiwan ranges from US$93.36 to US$504.12/ton.

The products involved are cold-rolled austenitic stainless steel type 304 (304, 304L, and 304H) and ferritic stainless steel type 430, with thicknesses between 0.35 mm and 4.75 mm, classified under tariff codes 7219.32.00, 7219.33.00, 7219.34.00, 7219.35.00, and 7220.20.90 of the Mercosur Common Nomenclature (NCM).
