Recently, with the commissioning of the last graphene LED streetlight on Jinxiu Road, the highly anticipated "Intelligent Energy-Saving Urban Lighting Transformation Project" in Qianjiang City, Hubei Province, officially concluded and commenced operation, ushering in new changes and hope for urban lighting.

"This project is a successful exploration in our city's efforts to promote green urban development. Through the innovative model of 'corporate investment + electricity fee sharing,' we have successfully transformed 6,473 old streetlights on 23 main and secondary roads across the city into intelligent systems without increasing fiscal expenditure," said Dong Jun, Director of the Qianjiang City Streetlight Management Bureau. Statistics show that the renovations have saved 2.3609 million kWh of electricity annually and reduced carbon emissions by 12,400 tons, equivalent to the annual carbon sequestration of 689,000 trees.

It is understood that the project deeply integrates advanced Internet of Things technology, creating a series of impressive upgrades and highlights, ushering urban lighting into a new era of intelligent technology.

"In terms of material innovation, we use graphene composite heat-dissipating LED lamps. These lamps have significant advantages over traditional sodium lamps, with a lifespan three times longer and a 40% increase in luminous efficiency. This means that street lamps are not only more durable, but can also illuminate every corner of the city more efficiently."
