Recently, in response to issues such as damaged street lights, low illumination, and soiled lamp covers in the urban area, the Municipal Administration Office of Xixiu District in Anshun City, Guizhou Province, has organized staff to carry out repair and replacement work to ensure the safety of citizens traveling at night.

As of now, the light sources along the Hongshan Lake Road section (from the reservoir dam to the Experimental School overpass) have been replaced with LED sources. This upgrade not only enhances the illumination of the street lights but also reduces energy consumption, making them more environmentally friendly and significantly improving light efficiency. Approximately 54 light sources have been replaced in total. Additionally, repairs and replacements have been conducted on the street lights and lamp covers along Longgong Avenue and Shifu Road. Compared to the old covers, the new ones offer higher transparency and improved aesthetics. Around 30 street lights have been repaired, and approximately 350 lamp covers have been replaced. This maintenance and replacement initiative not only actively practices the concept of green development and illuminates urban roads but also provides better assurance for citizens' nighttime travel.

The Xixiu District Municipal Administration Office will continue to uphold the development philosophy of green, low-carbon, and sustainability, strengthen the management and maintenance of street lighting facilities, ensure their safe operation, and continuously enhance the sense of happiness and security among citizens.
