The capacity utilization rate was 78.3%, down by 0.3 percentage points week on week and up by 1.8 percentage points year on year.
As of the week ending on February 28, 2026, the adjusted year-to-date production of US’ raw steel has amounted to 15.048 million net tons, rising by 5.0% compared to the prior-year level. The capacity utilization rate was 77.2%, up by 0.8 percentage points year on year.
