South Korea has decided to levy provisional anti-dumping (AD) duties between 22.34% and 33.67% on specific Chinese cold-rolled zinc and zinc alloy steel products. This four-month measure acts on an April recommendation by the Korea Trade Commission (KTC), with the active period running from June 12, 2026, until October 12, 2026.

The temporary tax targets surface-treated cold-rolled zinc and zinc alloy products in coils, sheets, plates, and corrugated variations under 4.75 millimeters thick clad or coated with zinc, zinc-aluminum, or zinc-aluminum-magnesium. Products electrolytically plated or coated with zinc, or galvannealed through an annealing process, are excluded.
