Indonesian Anti-Dumping Committee (KADI) has initiated an anti-dumping (AD) investigation into galvanized steel products imported from China, according to the Ministry of Trade. The investigation will run for up to 12 months and can be extended to a maximum of 18 months if necessary.

KADI reviewed imports from January 1, 2023, to December 31, 2025, finding that Indonesia imported around 2.56 million tons of galvanized steel products during the period. China accounted for about 2.075 million tons, or approximately 81% of the total.

The products under investigation are under HS codes 7210.49.11, 7210.49.17, 7210.49.18, 7210.49.19, 7212.30.12, 7212.30.13, 7212.30.19, 7225.92.90 and 7225.99.90.

KADI found preliminary evidence indicating dumping and injury to Indonesia’s domestic industry.
