Due to the remarkable improvement in the profit rate, Chinese steel mills now actively restart their production. Data from the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) of China revealed that in August, China produced a total of 71.37 million tons of pig iron and 83.87 million tons of crude steel, while the steel product output was summed to be 108.33 million tons.

It was also estimated that in September, China's daily crude steel output would maintain at a level of 2.8 million tons, drawing an uptrend line thanks to the strong steel demand in the market.

Meanwhile, production restrictions would be set in October around the area of Beijing, Tianjin, and Hebei, thus the crude steel output could be restrained at the moment.
