Benefiting from the strong demand and good outlook for the aerospace, energy, and oil and gas markets, Gloria Material Technology Corp. (GMTC), the largest specialty alloy manufacturer in Taiwan, reported that its revenue reached NT$1.045 billion in September, down by 5.7% month on month but up by 25.8% year on year. The accumulated revenue in the first three quarters totaled NT$9.035 billion, growing by 45.2% year on year.

The chairman of GMTC said that the number of shipping days decreased due to the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday and the planned stocktaking, and many of shipments to Europe and the US weren’t calculated in the month, resulting in a month-on-month decrease of 5.7% in revenue in September. The revenue in October was expected to rise back to over NT$1.1 billion.
