Currently, China's non-ferrous metal market is going strong due to multiple motivations. However, the concrete price increase varies from metal to metal.
In the latest week, the Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE) nickel price soared by almost 9%, and the SHFE aluminum price didn't seem to be so different from the level of the previous week.
Analysts explained that such a phenomenon is mostly caused by the evident signal of remission shown in the global economic slowdown. As the macroeconomics improves, non-ferrous metal price replies with a general uptrend. It was also estimated that the aluminum price shall remain at a relatively low level before Spring Festival.
