In June, China exported 7.5 million tons of steel products, falling by 10.1% month on month, and about 1.28 million tons of coated sheets and strips, a month-on-month decrease of 7.22%.

According to statistics, in the first half of 2023, China exported in total about 43.6 million tons of steel products, increasing by 31.3% compared to the same period a year ago. Meanwhile, coated sheet and strip exports during the first six months of this year were a total of 7.73 million tons, up by 17.6% year on year.

On the other hand, in June, China imported a total of about 107,000 tons of coated sheets and strips, while in the first half of 2023, China imported nearly 590,000 tons of these products.
