According to statistics released by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) of China, in March, China’s crude steel output totaled about 88.27 million tons, decreasing by 7.8% year on year. The daily average output of crude steel was about 2.85 million tons, growing by 1.7% month on month.

Meanwhile, China’s steel products production was about 123.37 million tons, slightly increasing by 0.1% year on year. The daily average output was 3.98 million tons, a month-on-month growth of 11.9%.
