Ferrexpo, a leading Ukrainian iron ore company, is committed to aiding Ukraine's recovery and supporting the global shift to green steel. Following the Ukraine Recovery Conference in Berlin, Nick Bayes, Ferrexpo's Director of Investor Relations and Corporate Communications, emphasized the company's role in the nation's "green" metallurgical revival.

Ferrexpo already produces high-quality iron ore pellets essential for the steel industry's eco-friendly transition. Bayes stressed that private sector involvement, particularly from industrial leaders like Ferrexpo, is crucial for Ukraine's recovery. Despite wartime challenges, the company has maintained optimal production levels and resumed exports via the reopened sea corridor.

Ferrexpo's contributions are significant, accounting for up to 20% of the Poltava region's GDP and 3% of Ukraine's exports in early 2022. The company's robust relationships with global investors have facilitated continued support for European customers, reinforcing its position as a pivotal player in Ukraine's economic resurgence.
