According to statistics from the China Iron and Steel Association (CISA), the daily output of crude steel from CISA’s key enterprise members totaled around 2 million tons in early August, rising by 1.5% from late July while falling by 6.9% from the same period a year ago.
China’s key steel producers involved in the statistics produced a total of roughly 20 million tons in the given period.
Meanwhile, the steel inventory of these steel companies was approximately 15.9 million tons, falling by 0.93% from late July and by 0.94% from the same period a year earlier.
