According to statistics from the US Department of Commerce (USDOC), the US exported around 38,000 tons of steel coils in June, increasing by 25% compared to the previous month but falling by 19% from the same month a year ago.
Among them, the exports to Mexico accounted for the largest proportion, totaling roughly 25,000 tons, a month-on-month increase of 25.6% and a year-on-year drop of 21.8%. Canada ranked second with around 13,000 tons, and the exports to other countries were not so many in June.
The export value was approximately US$41 million during the period, up by 20.4% month on month and down by 16% year on year.
