Yieh United Steel Corp. (Yusco), a leading stainless steel mill in Taiwan, announced its price for stainless steel flat products. Considering factors such as raw material costs, energy, and exchange rates, prices for September would be kept flat on the basis of prices in August.

Tang Eng Iron Works Co., Ltd., another major stainless steel manufacturer in Taiwan, announced that its price would maintained for September yesterday, breaking away from the 16 consecutive months of bargaining way since May last year.

The price adjustment was in line with market expectations. Without significant changes in the overall market, keep price flat is acceptable for the market participants.
