As night falls, in the fields of Yuanjing Village, Henggang Town, Ruichang City, Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province, wind-suction solar insecticidal lamps that store a day's electricity are switched on and off by light sensors, and are neatly arranged like lanterns, which not only become a new landscape in the rice fields, but also lay a "net" for pests in the farmland.

Approaching the wind-suction solar insecticidal lamp, you can see many killed insects. The insecticidal lamp uses the phototaxis of more than 10 kinds of adult pests such as rice planthoppers and rice leaf rollers, and the fan sucks them into the collector to air dry and dehydrate them, effectively killing pests in an energy-saving and environmentally friendly way. At the same time, the pesticide waste trash can at the bottom of the insecticidal lamp also provides protection for the harmless treatment of pesticides and fertilizers.
It is reported that Henggang Town has built a provincial agricultural demonstration base of 1,000 mu this year, with the demonstration area as the core to promote the application of green control technology. It uses solar insecticidal lamps to kill pests and reduce the insect population base. It uses advanced unmanned plant protection aircraft to carry out aerial spraying operations. Combined with the construction of a rice-duck co-breeding demonstration base, it has effectively reduced the secondary pollution of fertilizers and pesticides, truly realizing green plant protection.
